Agree. The RE dependent world would be in a far less precarious position now had they secured supply with a reasonable risk premium in Lynas contracts. The problem is the world was content to sit back and procure magnets cheaply from China instead of investing in their own supply chains to reduce risk, a false economy that will prove very costly in companies having to stop production due to shortage of magnets.
