I never said any thik like this. If you think so show me where
You have no evidence whatsoever that LYNAS and JAPAN are not mutually benefited and content. They conti nue to update and extend the agreement and have changed it as well to keep each other happy including the possibility of dividends for an example. Chem post #: 79574725.
In fact it has been a great deal for both parties. It saved Lynas from BK and gave Japan a second source outside of China.
You totally misread my first Reply to Eddie B and went Lets look at what I said and what you never replied to because you went off on a tangent critizizing what I did not saay
All your points are correct. I did not see an important item in your logic. I think this is critical. Who Can process any Reasonable amount of NdPrO that will put in a bid higher than Market? With out you being able to identify this and volume they will want then Lynas will still only receive market price. I agree with you they can sell to someone else if Japan does not match price, Who is this company? CJ post #: 79570723
I have added underlines so you can find things. First I clearly said I agreed with everything Eddie said. that he was correct. Yet you seem to think I am saying he is wrong. Then I asked what I concider a very critical question one which I am now asking you for the third time. Did not get an answer first two times. Reasonable amount of NdPrO that will put in a bid higher than Market? Yes Japan has to match any higher bid when Lynas gets an offer When they are making 7.2 KT. They are still stuck below 6 KT, 4 Q running average So Eddie is correct the critical question is who will put in theses higher bids. This is a big Gap in your arguments. If no other bidder than Japan can buy as much as they want at Market. That is all I am saying. The only people making Metal and magnets right now Are China, Japan, A very small amount in Vietnam but growing, MP in US but they have their own NdO and they will need to buy either Tb or Dy
So I have always agreed that Japan has to match the highest bid once Lynas is over 7.2KT which they were suppose to reach in 2018. My only question is who will be bidding for this product to raise the price. Some day there will be many I am sure. Do you see any one in the next 12 ~ 24 months? . If you answer this I will agree totally that Japan will pay more. It has been that simple in all my posts. I do not know where you are finding all this other junk. Maybe I was sloppy and said these things please show me where so I can apologies and fix if need be.
