Seldom do I hold options into the month before they expire. To volatile and all it takes is one rumor to dramatically change the picture and then you have no time to let things settle. But for these I will hold Till The acceleration goes positive on MP SP No later than Late July early August.
May take a flier on some puts just out of the money that expire in a week or so After their Q2 and CC. They announced in April they were stopping all shipments to China during Tariff problems. So earnings will be a lot more negative than Q1. Figure that will be good for a fast drop. If I am wrong I will lose it all but out of money with 2 or less weeks to expiration will be very cheep. Right now you can buy the July 3rd Strike $31.50 for $0.57. The same thing before CC will be available it is a lose all, or double possibly triple your money, 10 contracts is only $570.00. If SP drops too much, I will not do it. There is always a floor on all stocks. For these short term decision TA is really valuable. JMO this is what you use TA for.
