    I do not know. If separation is Viable. tI is easy to do What I do not know is how cost effective it is. . The only thing I will note is except where there is lots of Uranium and thorium That make it worth while, I do not know of no one separating out Thorium. Things Change and economics could make it worth while. China has a Thorium reactor up and running. My only question on this is why not use Depleted uranium it is not the Same but very close. Bill Gates' has several experimental reactors Runing Depleted Uranium. If it is economically viable, they will do it. Otherwise, it is a no go. The US has enough Depleted stored to power world for something like 200 years.

    Experimental reactors are less than 50 MW output give or take.
