Not good - same here though, I've just got myself the conversion forms. We'll just have to wait longer for short term profit, or hang onto the INR shares, which I'm convinced will come good in the long run. India needs coal.

Re the recent manipulation GUJ/INR: Just Indians doing their own thing on an overseas stock exchange. It still seems a bit silly to alienate the locals.
BUT when you really think about why we're here?? Do we contribute very much to society? We're in it mostly for the short-term profit. To be fair one must also concede that the share market is a ready source of capital for companies who need it for expansion and projects (and others who just noodle along and get directors' fees on sparse and juidicious announcements).

Short term trading is a game of 'Musical Chairs' - somebody always misses out.
