Todal i don't know what you are getting your knickers in a knot over. It is not unusual for shareholder consent to be given to give financial support to a subsidiary or related Company. I am sure that management didnot know this at the time of making all there announcements and that they are now asking for shareholder consent to cover a grey area of the law and to dot their i's and cross their t's and keep the bankers happy (as I am sure theya re the ones that made them get this consent as a condition of continuing support). So, they are not necessarily shysters!!!!! Maybe the hedge funds that shorted the stock are the shysters that caused a major erosion of value and caused doubt!!!!
