Citigroup has issued a new forecast for the negative effect on certain stocks ifthe official interest rate in Australia is lifted again. Among those to feel theimpact most will be health care groups, especially if generating earnings in theUS as the Australian dollar appreciate further. Higher interest rates to curbinflation may be necessary due to the boom in the resources industry.
