For those that are interested, RM2.L is an interesting comp for Range. Of course they are trying to pool rather than sell plastic pallets. The interesting issue is the capital intensity of the pallet business, combined with very long sales lead time, particularly in the early years.
These businesses need substantial backing, most likely from an industry partner to survive the long road to profitability and more important cash returns. Capital raising in a falling market with no confidence around sustainable positive cashflow is devastating.
