EMC2 it just really grates on me that the coy is now back to the original programme,or are they ?

What I mean by that is this.

The original programme was for 6 verticals and 4 hori's.
If you read the latest plans for the near term they want to drill 3 more verticals ( #6,#7,#8 )which will bring it up to the seven.

There has been some talk of another hori but that was some time back and the overall talk from the company is for a "vertival programme" I take it that their intentions are for 8 verticals and 2 hori's.Notice they still use the legal issues as a reason not to drill another hori.Of course,way behind schedule again for #6, no $ as far as i can work out so when will it be drilled ?

They can't extend the lease terms again ?? so time is running out almost as fast as the money.

A visit to their shareholders again is imminent, I believe ?

"Preparations are underway for the drilling of the 6th well in the Permian project. Surveying of several sites for both vertical and horizontal wells is underway. The next well to be drilled is expected to commence drilling operations in March 2013. A decision on whether to drill a horizontal or vertical well will be determined based on the results of the #5H well’s initial production and other factors involving the current permitting process and legal issues."


EMC2, I can understand people getting excited over Tuesdays trading as it hasn't happened in a long time. People need to remove the wool and have a dig around to see what is truly happening because it ain't as rosy as some believe.

So many more parts to this story which are not confronted by the believers.I often think about how this has so much bloody potential,like no other penny dreadful oiler i know of.The acres they sit on is a pot of gold which will last for the next 25 - 30 years. How and why has it all gone to shite ? I and everyone else have their thoughts on what is in the making. Will we see a T/O and see GGP end up as a pvte entity ? Will there be a consolidation and then the rinse and spin cycle to start all over again ? Money is always a concern with this coy,like the struggling family who live from pay to pay.
