Guys, The Great Fingall is probably the last of the high grade, high tonnage producers that has never been drilled below the existing workings, Mining ceased in the early 1900s. ACM sunk the Goldern Crown shaft in the eightees which sits within a stones throw of the old Fingall headframe, it has a decline at the bottom of the shaft which is about 1500ft below surface, they say the Goldern Crown was an offshoot of the Fingall, the old Mountain View shaft, which was very high grade broke into the old workings of the Fingall at about 900ft. Peter Cook when with Hill 50 gold mines drilled deep diamond holes from surface to prove up the hill 50 deeps. What iam getting at is, if he does the same at the Fingall, the chances of extending the orebody are high and he has access through the existing Goldern Crown shaft. Watch this space
