You'd have thought that SBN would've offered SiYi a slice to partner, and perhaps they did.

If they didnt and werent consulted then yes that would be highly offensive.

Imagine investing 3 years of time and money to set up operations in China only for you to see it offered to all to get a massive slice of the pie you effectively helped to make.

Hmmmm lots of possible outcomes. If they were highly offended they are still shooting themselves in the foot however if they abandon ship.

What will they do with the years of investment and infrastructure?

I dont think the Chinese are that dumb.
