Dillade, the rhetoric maybe a bit over the top, but it comes from someone who has copped, as we all have, more than his fair share of of market skullduggery destroying his investment plans.He's entitled to feel bitter,in my view, though I feel a more calmer approach would have had more impact. That said,he's telling it as it is and if HRZ shareholders band together to instruct their Board to find out who those entities hiding behind nominee companies/banks are, then remedial action can be taken. And that is a positive,is it not?
ASIC, of ill repute,has taken Macquarie Bank to task for misdemeanours re: short selling over a number of years.A cynic would view it as an attempt to recover lost credibility seeing how previous penalties leveled against the Bank were unenforced, begging the question; why?
Be that as it may, if it can be revealed certain entities have been behaving like dodgy bookies or mafioso, in ensuring their market bets paid off in their abuse of legal shorting, then in its new found zeal to correct market misbehaviour,ASIC will be under pressure to take action.
Something countless shareholders and even some directors have been calling for, over the last decade at least.
That is surely worthy of support,isn't it?
