i should clarify, I am most certainly not considered a large holder, not by a long shot. Im a very small value investor, which is why i dont bother too much with things like getting up a ceo as you said. Perhaps if i had a lot more skin in the game id get more vocal, but I invest in companies, strategies, and people i like. It is therfore completely reasonable to sell out as things change with a company.
What you said regarding peoples lack of research is true, I actually had a bit of a moment with that very concept, although slightly reversed, recently when someone pointed out I research more to invest 5k than I do to work at a company for 4 years. Made me reshuffle my thinking on my value, time.
I should also mention im an idiot. Im learning as I go and have lost far more than I've made, unfortunately. Its why I like this site. I get a lot of differing points of view.
