One reason for the Wes fall could be that consumer sentiment has just been reported as being the lowest it has been in Aust for 16 years. With a high proportion of revenue coming from retail, and with the revitalisation of Coles fully 5 years away, there is every chance that with low consumer sentiment, WOW can manage with lower prices better than Coles.
