    Rubbish! The mining boom was a boom because it was in the development expansion stage with major works involved. Everyone knew that phase would slow down. Naturally when Labor is valued due to supply/demand issues higher wages are offered. When the construction phase ended workers had to move and find work that attracted lower wages.

    Seems you don’t mind it when the multi-nationals make record profits but when a tradie etc does well because their labour is in high demand you squeal like an overweight pig.

    You insultingly refer to tradies and other workers as ‘unskilled plebs’. Disgraceful attitude!
