Exactly Gladestone is a perfect example of this as a few years ago there were 1000's of workers earning big bucks building the LNG plants now there is bugger all. The companies paid whatever was needed to get the guys there to construct the plants. They told me last week they run one of the plants with 16 workers + 4 tradies on shift but in a couple of weeks that will be cut to 12 operators + 2 tradies. That plant loads 2 1/2 ships per week !

Funny thing is I have a neighbour across the road in Western Sydney that is a Fifo operator up there
