I don't disagree that there is something dodgy about the tradies in Sydney.
In defence of the first guy it was in regional Victoria and he did massively underestimate the scale of the job. It was a pretty common occurance with that house as every tradie we ever had in under estimated the scale of the work. I think it was because the house looked like a conventional house, but everything was twice the size (rooms, etc). A great house and it cost 1/10th of my current home which is a 1/3rd the size, but that is Sydney
