Rather churlishly, the idea couldn't originate in this country, could it?, for obvious reasons, just a total lack of intellectual capacity where its needed the most , in our leaders.
Why hasn't anyone tried to prosecute the " efficiency wage " is beyond me.
Yes there is more than likely a trade off if this was introduced across the board, there would be losers ( jobs wise ).
However the overall benefits are not to be ignored.
