Another note from the interview from a farm level point of view. I'm glad he said they had no plan to implement robotic milking machines.

If I remember when I was on farm 1 robot could service roughly 150 cows so a herd of 1,000 would need 7. The cost has probably come down since I was on farm but the cost isn't just in the robots. The whole farm needs to be redesigned to use them. For the interviewer to say they need no staff couldn't be further from the truth as well. they're not really suitable for our way of broad acre farming.
