I would be very careful.
Historically, primary production offers a very modest return on investment.
If they are stud cattle it is quite easy to "doctor" your returns simply by having another stud purchase a bull or stud heifers at very high prices to "promote your enterprise" but the transactions are not really a refection of a competitive market place.
If you are not up to speed on commercial cattle production you can easily be taken for a ride. If you had invested at the start of the 10 year drought which recently affected Australia the returns would probably have been negative.
