So the Company and the Broker who gets the free hand out need a nice gap filler.

Bingo - Trading Halt for a few days. Set the Cap raising by Tuesday. Company puts out awesome looking report to get the punters happy. Broker backs the story with massive bids that get put to the back of the line each time it looks like getting touched along with the complimentry massive crossings to help the volume. Broker gets his money together by Friday and sells into the price splurge around the time of Alkali Gulch.
