"AMX released results from phase 2 of its drilling at Batie West in southern Burkina Faso, West Africa. The scout RC and diamond drill holes at Konkera North, drilled on a 200m line spacing have confirmed that gold mineralisation now continues over a strike length of 2km and that a large gold system has been discovered. Konkera Main infill and extensional drilling were more impressive and have extended the strike of mineralisation beyond 1km. AMX is on track to deliver a significant resource in the later half of 2009."
