I was very interested to see this result against a market backdrop of doom and gloom.
All sorts of reason being given why Australia will tank continue to tank but I feel there is a stronger underbelly.
Have for a while and while I'm not so silly as to go against the market, haven't bought more anything recently I will following the next reporting season closely. My belief is that things will be better than expected, not that expectations are high.
Unemployment rate is holding up better than I expected... people with jobs have money and spend it, is a pretty solid basis.
Next for me is TLS whose recent share fluctuations have been to the down side, given that they report very soon which has me a bit skit-sh.
If they come up as expected or better I will be feeling significantly happier... we shall see
