Benchmark's view is that there is a massive demand shortage later this decade and into the 2030's.Through to around 2026, probable and highly probable additional supply is likely to come on that will assist to meet this growing demand (Graph source - IG6 [not held])
For the short-term over the next couple of years, there's just a massive increase in demand which is able to be met by additional supply. These sort of conditions don't create the vertical prices lithium have done, but they are more likely to create price increases than decreases.
