Has HGG exposure been reduced through selling shares or by its SP plummeting vs the rest of the portfolio? I think it's the latter.
The rally immediately ahead of what was guaranteed to be a tough NTA print was odd, even allowing for a better start to July. I'd only buy back in below $1.15 currently (minimal premium to NTA).
I would hope for 8-9 cps dividend over the year ahead. I don't doubt it will turn around, but paying out too much in the short term will erode the capital base further.
