A theatrical review in early 1960s Britain was the catalyst for a whole new generation of satire & comedy, including That was the Week That Was, The Frost Report and Monty Python. This radio play is a reconstruction of the birth of that revue and contains some quite funny stuff. I do think the claim that it transformed comedy is a bit exaggerated though because 3 other blokes did that 10 years earlier, namely Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe.
