Always great to see more solar generation and energy storage solutions being rolled out.
Especially in Australia where our governments are still fossil fuel peddlers.
I will cause a bit of a stir here but I can't see Li batteries being used for this type of grid storage for much longer. VRFB technology is way superior and China is building the worlds biggest battery storage at present and it is a VRFB .
i wont go into the pros and cons here dyor, all i will add is the VRFB technology and chemistry is fantastic with virtually limitless charge and discharge cycles and easy expandability hence longer lifetime.
Don't get me wrong i am a lithium bull. Li ion batteries are the solution for transportation but VRFB for grid storage.
