The patented tailings extraction technology should, if it actually works, be marketed to other gold mining and production concerns. "IF" is the magic word here. But if you drive around Victoria and look at the piles of tailings left behind from decades of mining and refining, one would think that this advanced technology could indeed wring out enough AU to make the venture profitable.
So, and here we go again with the word IF, we have a process which will extract the maximum quantity of AU from the diffings, then there will be a marketing person (or firm) who can sell or license the technology on a commission basis and certainly add significantly to the cash flow.
I am in construction and manufacturing related sales. I have seen firms like Worley, KBR, and many others take a concept like this, secure both interest and financing, then go on to build enourmously profitable facilities. Worley has taken some solar technology and has planned, gotten financing and has applied for permits to build a solar plant that will generate electricity for 200,000 homes, all cost effectively. I am not a Worley shareholder and am not promoting them. But using them as an example how a company like GBM can think outside the box and, in turn, reward it's shareholders.
Come on, GBM, let's THINK and GROW RICH!
