I agree, LNG would be mad not to have someone buying for them from Wednesday. I'm thinking there could be a good opportunity for anyone (albeit risky if no deal eventuates) to buy into the post record date washout. If it goes under 35c I don't see too much downside given the underwriters should try to hold the price up above 35c until the offer closing date and meanwhile there is always the possibility of a firmer offer coming above 65c.
