your theory isn't as out tr as it may seem to others.

i gre up in africa and our family has been in business there for decades, both at private and government levels.

there is one thing i can say with certainty and that is there is no absolute certainty when it comes to some countries there where "democracy" isn't exactly order of the house.

regimes in Africa have been known to flip on decisions or even worse, be toppled overnight (as is evident by recent events in the north of the continent) and above all, corruption is rampant, even at the highest levels.

this by no way means that the cameroon/congo governments will act in such manner however it does make one wonder what they would or wouldn't do for a massive one-off cash payment in the billions.

for the sake of long term holders, let's hope sanity prevails.
