Sydney - Thursday - October 16: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Consolidated Rutile (ASX:CRT) reports zircon price increases in the
second half of 2008, combined with favourable recent movements in the
AUD/USD exchange rate will result in an improvement in company profit
for 2008.
CRT's revised estimate is that its full year 2008 NPAT is
expected to be in the range of $13-15 million.
This is an upgrade from the previous guidance range of $7-9
million.
CRT maintained a healthy balance sheet position at the 30th
September 2008 with no borrowings, placing the company in a strong
financial position in the current economic climate.
