Whilst that is an interesting statistic it's probably not surprising.
Twice a year CBA goes ex-div by an amount approximating 3% of the s/p (at current levels). Often there's a dip the day prior of .5-1% so you only need to find 1-1.5% in the 3 days following the ex-div to create your 5% in 5 days outcome.
