No relation to apg but did you see comment in Oz today re Bank of Scotland.They bought ABN AMRO in Oct 2007 for 100 Bill Dollars. I they had waited ( had earnies patience) they could have bought Citibank (22 Bill), Goldman Sachs (21 Bill), Merill Lynch (12 Bill), Morgan Stanley (11 Bill ), Deutsche bank (13 Bill), Barclays (13 Bill ), and still had 8 bill left. Bugger, puts things in to some sort of perspective. Like why did I buy a few million apg last year.
