Actually I am wide awake thankyou. So it's a loony proposition to want clean air less pollution and enough water to drink? Australia is still about pioneering and discovery - maybe you should keep up with what's going on more. Pioneering and discovering new technologies to provide power without the CO² emissions that come from dirty fossil fuels. There are plenty of people getting on with the job and making changes in their personal lives to help. But to get meaningful change, governments need to get on board. People (or the loony left as you call them) protest to make governments aware their voters expect them to make changes. I dont know when you were growing up in Australia, but protests and people power to make changes have been going on for as long as I can remember. There is a big mess to clean up if we want our grand children and great grandchildren to live long, healthy, happy lives. Enjoy your retirement.
