I read the SLD prospectus, I thought it sounded okay. I noted SLD have Alinta behind them - Alinta have a lot of pipes and, I thought, they should be a reasonable judge of the possible worth of the technology. I thought, the award seemed encouraging for SLD as they are moving to commercialisation.
Here's a whole magazine devoted to the business SheildLiner are moving in to.

there's lots of business out there. It seems like a growing field to me, with lots of money needing to be spent. And, I thought, reports on jobs being done don't make things sound unduly competitive.
That's all really. Then I thought if they have a 1/2 way okay technique (and they aren't mongrels of some sort) it's not a bad business. And with a market cap of only $11mil I thought it mightn't be such a bad thing.
And, who knows, maybe what they are doing does work more easily and cheaply than other methods (which they claim); then maybe $11mil is cheap for the patents on an internationally applicapble technology.
Cheers, mm
