With regards to strategy in WA we just had an election which was basically a referendum on COVID management. You might want to check out the results. The party that said the lockdowns were too harsh didn’t fare that well. Maybe you are exaggerating the costs vs benefits a tad (assuming lockdowns managed appropriately as part of a comprehensive approach in keeping with WHO guidelines). With regards to MYR shares I don’t think the recent corporate activity coinciding with the recent lockdown is a coincidence. The smart money knows the end to lockdowns is in site and what better time to mop up shares from people who can’t think things through.
