I don't profess to know a thing about shorting either. I did try and picture myself in their shoes. Strategy-wise, I think they are doing the right thing, in terms of slowly covering without revealing their hand or moving the share price up quickly.
Surely most of the shorts are sitting on some serious profits. But I'm sure, like you say, they would be dying to get out quicker (assuming our long thesis is right).
PS, after watching GME last night, I had a bit of FOMO & topped up a bit more today on MYR. Couldn't resist. Too bad there's no MYRO to buy.
