Anyone who was in SPP held BTA. If they wanted to be a seller the old shares would have been sold without waiting for the new ones to arrive. The pre SPP holdings would have to ave more than $5K.
The new shares are deep in the money - first trading rule let profits run but cut losses.
So why the panic about watch for the selling when the SPP shares are released?
Down ramping from shorters from last couple of weeks and now daily volume has dried up - could it be they were trying to create selling on and after Wednesday to cover those shorts without forcing the sp up too much? Interesting.
News of any USA order will come through while we are asleep - a little late to get set after the world knows.
Relenza sales are not dependant on a pandemnic. Govts have to be responsible and prepare for a worse case scenario. There is no need for a beat up and to cause unnnessary panic.
