Not quite Kip. Pershing have probably missed today's vol (prolly not quite mobilized yet). AND they are never anywhere near 100% of daily trading vols (think 50% or less). That said, if trading vols materially increase over the next week or two, then their job will be done quicker than in recent times. And the task rebuilding the $400k to their cash holdings to maintain an EOQ balance of $2M will be made easier too - assuming, of course that this is not just another false start...

The story of increased Ni demand to supply Li batteries is very alluring, BUT the increase in demand will not happen overnight and there is plenty of excess capacity on the supply side to accommodate for the foreseeable future. Ni has historically (measured over 100 years - 10 years is laughable) been a commodity that suits speculators, given its propensity for volatility. The tea leaves (TA) are showing NP kissing overbought territory on the weeklies (they're well into the danger zone on the dailies, but dailies will do that... weeklies provide some better insight). There's prolly a bit more to run in this NP upleg. The real question is what the NP does after the first reaction (retracement) from this upleg.

And then there's the inevitable speeding ticket which will issue any day now.

In the meantime, beware of johnny-come-latelies who mindlessly spam ramp into this upleg. It's your money they are after!
