I was taken by surprise when all buyers and sellers, bar two evidently, were purged. CRK seems to have broken out of its downtrend and perhaps investors are waiting for more good news from the next quarterly report due shortly.
In any case, very few sellers came back after the purge. Whilst l00,000 were bought yesterday - usually an indication with CRK of a price movement - you would have difficulty right now buying the same amount. Perhaps all those nervous sellers have finally sold out.
CRK drifts down very slowly when there is lack of interest but rises extremely rapidly when it's on the boil.
On past occasions like this, if you look back, there has been a very significant sale of shares quite suddenly. It wouldn't surprise me to see it happen again.
It's hard to keep good news totally secret to prevent insider trading, despite the best efforts of directors. Too many people know what is about to happen, employees of consulting firms. friends of geologists and so on.
Anyway, I guess we all all know in a few days.
