They are busy running a company!
The share price has gone down, but their core business has not changed. There is no exodus from their shopping centres. They don't need short term money - until December at least.
The company's employees job is to generate the best financial outcomes for shareholders - not to pander constantly to nervous shareholders.
PR for their business is fine - their business model is working OK with the exception of getting caught out with short term debt, so their is no need to spruke the share.
