IMO a cap raising will only be necessary IF a JV cannot be achieved.

If they engage in a JV i would assume there would be some sort of reimbursement for recent costs (presuming these projects are part of the JV) and some sort of upfront cash payment to fund the next round of exploration.

Dont forget FNT own their own rigs and labour is cheap over in PNG, especially where they are exploring (JUNGLE!) so they can run the drilling on the smell of an oily rag, as they have for a couple of years now.

I doubt the roadshow has much to do with the JV - it is more a case that PM is back in Aus after an extended exploration campaign, and is now looking to do the promotion thing. He does work hard it would seem!
