Big WCG volume today of 6.5m shares all of which was at the current takeover bid or higher. Obvious buyer would be Keybridge (KBC) who became substantial last week as Bolton probably sees potential to grab 20% and then be king maker on the deal "on his terms" to make a few dollars.
The buyers identity will be released soon enough and we may see further buying for a few more days yet if the identity is KBC and that is Bolton's plan. Can't see why KBC would want the whole business, but it may upset WAA 's plan for KBC.
WCG shareholders don't want to get caught up in the whole KBC mess.
