If people are happy to sit at home and can exist on welfare then that's not an encouragement to get out of bed and work for a bit extra than the welfare. Populations have been induced into complacency and to accept below par living conditions and are no longer psychologically driven to improve their lot, or their children's. If jobs must be filled then there is only one way and that is to increase wages, and that's the plan, so there is an increase in inflation, increase in living expenses. Biden and his cohorts know full well what generous welfare does to society and it's their way of exerting pressure on capitalists to hand over more. Will it work to an already demotivated society?
