I guess my thoughts in asking if hanging around for divvie, always apply, based on one's individual circumstances, and that is does the reduction in capital gain when/if ex div SP falls 1 cent outweigh the benefit of franking credits on div?

And I guess it generally does, especially if taking into account the added opportunity of trading with the capital elsewhere in the meantime.

There's certainly more muted talk of AMM being involved in M & A activity than ever in the past, so I'd be loath to have no exposure while it pays a decent div, but I think you're right and it may continue to offer trading opps.
