Legend has serious problems with developing their project. They require a beneficiation plant due to the lack of DSO in their prospects (1 m tonnes or less). The beneficiation plant will require a lot of dollars (100-300 m based on rough estimates from MAK).
MAK will be operating from June 2010, Legend has dirt roads to contend with on top of poorer RP grades. MAK is head and shoulders above the Legend project.
A signed agreement with the Indians in the first quarter next year will set the SP on fire.
That being said, the Kiwis are still keen and looking to buy 0.5m tonnes per year of high grade, low cadmium RP. 2010 is looking good for MAK.
