The demise of DOW isn't an isolated case therefore the recent SP drop doesn't fully reflect the true picture of the company. When the market does a u-turn so will DOW. People are being hit hard and they are offloading stocks that they think will under-perform in respect to other stocks they may hold. They are doing this because they must not because they necessarily want or like doing it. While this kind of action is taking place it inevitably creates opportunities for those who are cashed up.
