    Well said Cadrifter.
I agree that the SP has no meaning on the underlying business it's associated with.
The more I read the more I feel like Sanofi will be involved in this deal. I keep waiting for an announcement that says something like "Sanofi buys Unilife for XXXX million". If you look at the future revenue that Sanofi is contracted to pay Unilife for there multi year Finesse and Wearables contracts then it's a no brainer for them really. Rather then pay out the contracts over the contract term (10,15 years). They just pay out an upfront cost which will be a significant discount to the contract price I'd imagine and integrate the company as "Unilife - a division of Sanofi".

This isn't the best outcome for shareholders in the long term but for the short term it would provide huge upside.
I personally would still prefer Sanofi to come on board as a cornerstone investors or partner in Unilfe and help finance the company to commercialisation. This method would obviously give Sanofi a discount back on their contracts based on their ownership percentages and profits return back to them from Unilife.

Another little crazy idea that came to me over the weekend was this. And please stay with me on this one. What happens if Unilife discloses they are buying back stock in the company when a deal is announced. They receive a large cash injection and then spend say 20/40 million right away on market purchases for UNIS stock. At current prices they could remove about 60 million shares of common stock with 40 million dollars and cause a huge reduction in the share count. I understand that after a deal announced the price will lift but if they also buy back stock on market then this would create the short spike that people are suggesting and AS would get his revenge on the shorters. Anyway it was a pie in the sky idea over the weekend. Just thought I'd share the general idea of what I would love to happen.

    Good luck everyone.
