I wouldn't suggest that you read this entire article as it's pretty heavy going but it just emphasises that the effectiveness of magnetic hyperthermia (the ability to kill cancerous cells via heating the nanoparticles) very much depends on the size and quality of the nanoparticle.
This may explain why IBX's nanoparticles were 15 years in the making - this is obviously a fine art to making the perfect nanoparticle and Bob has mentioned more than once that we hold the "trade secret" around the ability to do this
Siemens wouldn't stuff around with an inferior product!
