    Honestly I'm not sure. Bob's comments to TheDon make it seem like a drug? The nanoparticle itself seems like it would be a device. It's the antibody coating which, in the definition in the box from the TGA, makes it sound like it would make it into a drug. The antibody binds to the antigen in a complex and creates the magnetic signature which is detectable by the MRI/MRX, then dissociates.. Regardless yes it does seem all very safe. Once the antibody is done binding to the antigen the nanoparticles will get taken to the liver by the venous system. Liver metabolises the particle, breaks it down, and you pee/poo it out. Maybe the HREC announcement will give more information into these specifics about drug/device and trial design.
